Hey everyone, just thought I'd see if there are people out there who love Metallica as Much as I do! Here's what I like for starters:

Favorite Album:

Ride the Lightning

Top 5 Favorite Songs:

2. Battery
3. Nothing Else Matters
4. Fuel
5. Enter Sandman

Favorite Player:

James Hetfield (rhythm guitarist/singer)

Anybody else who loves this band feel free to say something about Metallica as well!

Yes. I own Load, Ride The Lightning, KILL 'EM ALL, and Master Of Puppets.

Used to have more, but they've gotten lost over the years. I even had some of their underground music on cassettes at one point. Some of their best work IMO.

I used to be obsessed with them. I would even defend Load and Reload against anyone who criticized them. My obsession started to wither at some point, and Death Magnetic was the first album that I didn't run out and buy on the first day. I didn't buy it at all, actually. I downloaded a few songs and liked them but I just can't get excited about them anymore.

I'm a fan but I liked em more when I was a teen. Load & ReLoad are their best CDs

I love the song Fade To Black, it gives me goose bumps every time I hear it. Metal really just isn't my cup of tea, although I can sure as hell appreciate Metallica.

I'm not a die hard fan, but I like them. I even like the popular songs "true" fans don't like (such as the Unoforgiven II). But Metallica requires a special mood.

I think it's silly to separate the type of fan based on which songs they like. A fan is a fan.

BTW, I love all of their music.

No, no, it's not how I see it. But there are many music "elitists" out there who think that only less famous songs (albums, bands) are good while the more popular stuff is something that "true" fans would never like. Screw them.

Kill 'Em All = classic
Ride the Lightning = classic
Master of Puppets = masterpiece

Everything after that? Do no bother one little bit, except for Death Magnetic, which is something of a return to form.

Saw them during the And Just For All Tour and people threw their shoes on the stage.

Atindo, that photo is awesome! When was this concert?

As a side note, the song posted is also pretty cool. Just got a double feature of epicness!

Their first four albums are all masterpieces. I was pretty shocked by the black album when I first heard it, and to this day I draw the line there. I will revisit it someday, after I've fully recovered.
