Seriously? The man is very sick and wheelchair bound. I find your idea to be a tad absurd... (was that the intent?)
His music is well known though, but was sorta overshadowed by his role as the Vicar of Christ and all.
He's been unable to sit and play the piano for any time do to failing health, and
it's really sad seeing a fellow artist lose their ability to produce art.
I really hope you were not mocking a sick man who's lost his lifelong relationship with music, a man who no longer can create his art. Were you trying to be callous or do you really think he should headline shows? Can you explain more of your thought process on this?
Half-half. He should, given age and health, not headline shows obviously. That part was tongue-in-cheeck. However, I do find it surprising (seriously) that the album is little known. I am not religious myself but I think everyone on earth knows the Pope, so when he made that record I am surprised he didn't get more attention in the press.
I wasn't aware he was occupied with music before he became Pope. And wheelchair bound? I hope this isn't true because that would be a bad sign health-wise ; until his last days as Pope (before the inauguration of the current pope) he was still performing his duties. Now again, I am far from a religious person, but I wouldn't exactly wish anyone ill health.
