Yeah, I doodled in school. I always drew war scenes and motorcycles. Eventually my parents were called about my back-of-the-ditto shenanigans.

I used to enjoy trying to create extra-dimensional, isometric patterns on my graph pads. Other times, I just colored in stuff that was already there or morphed into whatever I thought it looked like part of. When I look through my old school supplies I find some awfully weird stuff...

I have always doodled, sketched, etc, especially while attending events, classes, seminars, where there is a speaker, involved. For some reason, it intensifies my level of concentration on the topic, speech, lesson, at hand, therefore, doodling/sketching has always been a positive thing for me, personally. I think I would refer to it as a stim, in fact. A major stim, that nearly puts me in a trance like, state. As odd as that may seem.

I found one of my old college notebooks and flipped through it looking at the doodles. Most of them were of doors opening. I think I wanted to leave.
