Arjen has been my favorite musician for many years, and I really liked his recent album, "The Theory of Everything". Also, one of the characters (the scientist's son) seems clearly autistic to me. It's not mentioned directly, but it's there in the lyrics.
For those who are not familiar with it, Ayreon is project of a very talented Dutch multi-instrumentalist Arjen Lucassen. It's progressive rock / metal. It's not a band really, because the only permanent member is Arjen himself, other singers and musicians are almost always different. Most of his albums are concept albums (or rock operas, as he sometimes calls them) with the story and characters.
