Molly Ringwald gets a makeover through a shady megacorp's human enhancement experiment, geeky good girl to slender femme fatale. Anthony Michael Hall is her boy genius/convicted serial killer therapist, who she visits in between misadventures. She gets a car similar to Sonny Crockett. Lea Thompson is a coke-snorting "queen bee" who arrives at school via a FREAKING HELICOPTER. There is backstabbing, manipulation, seduction, angst, horrible fashion, and a synthesizer soundtrack. There are screwed-up adults, evil adults, corrupt cops and school faculty. Montages. Palm trees. And SHADES.
