Please just don't look me in the eye
Or notice me as I walk by
I've long given up on being noticed
of people seeing that I exist
and at the end of the day,
I wouldn't want the attention anyway.

I know I'm asocial; I know that I'm strange
I know it, but I don't expect it to change
I never asked for this, I never got to choose
But given a redo I wouldn't refuse
It's just who I am, who I must be.
The chemical combination that resulted in me

our world's are all subjective
Mine's particularly invective
A world of hypocrisy where reason dies of hate
And the lies of the wicked tintinnabulate
A reprieve from the hatred one never should expect
Life is unfair, so surrender and accept

:D Yeah, this is free verse, but I usually write sonnets. One sonnet I wrote just won third place in a nationwide competition
