Wow, first a Rush topic, now Jazz. You're my new best friend!

If you haven't already guessed, my name is a combination of two of the most important things in Jazz history. As much as I love traditional Jazz, I'm more partial toward the fusion end of the spectrum, and my favorites are Herbie Hancock, Return to Forever, Mahavishnu, and some of the modern, electronic Jazz (Koop, St. Germain, Jazzanova, etc.)

8) 8) 8) 8)

Anyone heard of Zbigniew seifert?

He was a polish Violine player that died of cancer when he was 30, he was very influenced by coltrane and he`s first instrument that he played was the alto sax.
He is such a genius that I would say that he tops jean luc ponty, Urbaniak etc... but he died to soon.

(It`s not my side)

Hear "City of spring"

No he's not. Paul's music has been around since about 1989 and is a very skilled sax musician.

I like mahavishnu very much. :D I'm not into jazz very much in general, but I do like heavy metal bands that take a lot of influence from jazz, such as 'spiral architect' and 'cynic'.

I also like mats & morgan. Crazy stuff.
