I must admit, with us being social outcasts, weirdos, nonconformists etc, , that this type of music would be a hell of a lot more popular round these parts than at actually is. In fact i am positivity shocked just how how normal and boring the average wrong planets users taste of music is. I think it is only right that us weirdos and fans of dark, bizarre and challenging music have our own thread to post in, even if it is just me that posts here.

Don't get me wrong, I am not a snob or a musical elitist, (i listen to raw three chord proto grind-core like siege and heresy and derive just as much enjoyment as i do when i listen to Penderecki or Henry Cow) i am genuinely interested in hearing weird music that is new to my ears. Care to help?

Happy i am not alone. My first introduction to such music was a total surprise. I was dragged along to see a band called Fantamos with a friend and the opening band was Guapo.

OK so i have listened to Gong, Hawkwind, Zappa, Beefheart, Tull, before. Had seen the Ozrics Tentacles live but was my first introduction into the dark side of prog, since then i have been obsessed.
