I'm looking for a recommendation or advice on how to store paper I've used in my art.

These papers range in size from letter(8.5 x 11) up to 22 x 30 in. They are all template ideas for digital picture art and pyrograph designs. I keep them all even if I don't use them for record purposes of my work and reference for new ideas. All of my recent stuff is on the 22x30 or 17 x 11 paper.

So far I have stacked the paper out in the open on a shelf, but it's haphazzard and some have been damaged. I used to keep the letter size in some notebook folders but when I moved up in paper size that option was lost. I don't want to fold any of the paper to fit a smaller space. Right now the stack of papers is about 1.5 inches thick but it's only going to grow. I know artists have portfolios of work to display and I'm not looking for that.

Basically I'm looking for a way to safely store varying sizes of paper, without folding them or risking to much damage, and have access without extra hassle.

Any recommendations?
