I learned to late today that earlier yesterday H.R. Giger, one of my favorite artists of all time died. For those of you unfamiliar with Giger's works you would find one of his most famous masterpieces as the legendary Xenomorph (or the Alien from the movie "Alien"), and he is well known for other dark and brooding creations. His art which held an amorphous form was truly the stuff of terror found deep within ones mind. He was one of the few people in this world who could create nightmares, a master of the art of horror who will truly be missed.

I mostly remember him as the artist whose work influenced the game Dark Seed. Farewell, Mr. Giger.
