If I look at your nick, you should love Blues. Do you know Gov't Mule, it's the band of Warren Haynes, it's the guitar player of Allman Brother (not Lynyrd Skynyrd as I said  ). It's very guitar oriented, long jam with good solos, he sing very well too.

They play that song and many other covers (Neil Young, Pink Floyd-Money, Beattles, Black Sabbath) and good blues songs.

Thanks. BTW, thanks for correcting my spelling of Skynyrd.

My Top 10 favourite song covers:
(in order by song title)

“Detroit Swing City” – cover by Alien Fashion Show; original (as “Detroit Rock City”) by KISS.
-- The rock classic redone in swing format, and it works very well. Many people have trouble placing it until the song is almost over.

“I Feel Love” – cover by Blue Man Group; original by Donna Summer
-- Blue Man Group’s weird PVC Instrument is perfect for the rolling bass arpeggio, and the lead vocals by Annette Strean of Venus Hum are totally awesome. (And she's cute!)

“I Ran” – cover by Assemblage 23; original by A Flock of Seagulls
-- Industrial cover of the 80’s British New Wave hit has an edge to it that the original lacks.

“Misirlou” – cover by Dick Dale & the DelTones; original by Michalis Patrinos
-- An old Greek song redone as a guitar instrumental from the surf era. This is the most well-known version of the song, and it gained renewed popularity when it was used in the movie Pulp Fiction.

“Roll Over Beethoven” – cover by the Electric Light Orchestra; original by Chuck Berry
-- Nowhere else is ELO’s fusion of a rock band and a string quartet put to good use. I would say this is the definitive version of the song.

“Satisfaction” – cover by Devo; original by The Rolling Stones
-- This weird, syncopated, robotic cover of the rock classic helped put these spudboys from Arkon, Ohio, on the map. Mick Jagger himself has said this version is his favourite cover of the song.

“Tainted Love” – cover by Skinny Puppy; original by Gloria Jones
-- This song was made famous by the British synthpop duo Soft Cell. Skinny Puppy’s industrial version is my favourite, with Marilyn Manson’s a close second.

“U Got The Look” – cover by Gary Numan; original by Prince and Sheena Easton
-- British synthpop icon Gary Numan offers an upbeat, jazzy cover, an unlikely offering by an artist who very rarely covers other people’s songs.

“Whip It” – cover by Collide; original by Devo
-- Collide is a Goth/Industrial band, and their lead singer is drop-dead gorgeous. This Industrial cover of the Devo classic has a haunting aspect all its own.

“Wuthering Heights” – cover by Pat Benatar; original by Kate Bush
-- Pat Benatar studied as a coloratura soprano before going into rock music, and nowhere else does this training show so clearly. Next to this, Kate Bush’s rendition sounds like a cat being strangled.

Proud Mary-the cover version by Creedence Clearwater Revival. I hate Ike and Tina Turner's original.

Land of Confusion (Genesis) - Disturbed.

Actually, Disturbed makes a lot of great covers. It's hilarious that I don't even like the originals but the covers are on my permanent playlists.

Who By Fire (Leonard Cohen) - Coil

The Beat Goes On (Sonny & Cher) - Firewater

Mala Vida (Manu Chao) - Gogol Bordello <-- I've never actually heard the original but I like the Gogol Bordello version.

If It's In You (Syd Barret) - In the Woods... <-- Again, never heard the original.

Let There Be More Light (Pink Floyd) - In the Woods... <-- Not necessarily better, but definitely weirder.

Dogs of War (Pink Floyd) - Laibach
