I love to draw, sketch, and take photography. I take pictures of nature stuff, like flowers, and lots of my 2 cats. I have a Tumblr page where I post all my photography.I haven't posted any artwork yet, but I may take some photos of some of my artwork and post it here or on my Tumblr page. I like to draw mostly cartoons and sketch objects. Anyone else who likes to draw or take photos out here?

I'm a doll freak, so mostly I take pictures of my dolls. (sometimes my pets or nature as well though)

I'm just gonna link this because I know some people are really afraid of dolls, so I'm just gonna warn you that this contains a doll.

my self proclaimed fortee is cartography, in fact right now i'm drawing a map/s of an an imaginary place i made.

my high school also has a "visual arts and design academy" like a school within a school, i'm in that of course.

When i started about 3 years ago, i was really into sunset photography. It allowed me to pretty much 'create my own world'.

Then a acquaintance got me into model photography by doing a photoshoot together and i fell in love with the technical aspect of it. I have done a few photoshoots but that was usually with the same models because to be honest, i am quite scared of getting to know new people and doing a photoshoot alone. I dont know how to talk to the models, which makes me quite sad because i invested alot in studiogear and batterypacks. I always try to go to 'meetings' whenever i can so i can sort of get to know people and learn something new while other photographers give instructions to the model.

I have only done about 4 photoshoots and i havent done anything yet this year. I felt 'stuck' for quite some time. I have no problems sending messages or planning something, i do have problems with doing a photoshoot alone

Luckly, there are 2 meetings in the next 2 months that i am attending :D

I enjoy photography but I feel like I'll never have the right equipment, genius, or patience to take truly professional type images. So I try to focus on capturing transient things where you had to be there to take the photo. A million people could have taken a better photo, but they weren't there. The sunset will always return, but a weird piece of garbage on the sidewalk will be gone in a few hours. The ambulance in front of a ghetto liquor store will leave in a few minutes (and the store closed a month later to make way for a big real estate development). I post my photos online here: http://impermanentnewyork.blogspot.com/

I look back at these photos and see all their flaws. And that's the main reason I post them. It gives me a sense of all the things I can improve.
