Anyone else love acting?

I actually love acting more than music literature science or anything else in the sense that I adore being able to dissociate and become someone else. Its such a liberating feeling because all my hangups and personal issues just melt away. Ive never really considered this however because acting is what I do every day with NT's just to appear normal!

I love acting, I've been in nine shows.

However, I wouldn't make a career out of it because either:

a) I don't become famous and fail at my career

or

b) I become famous and everyone knows who I am. That sounds horrible, I love anonymity of life. I know it sounds odd, the actor who hates attention, but I act primarily because I can become someone else. Someone who doesn't have my problems, my anxieties, and my issues.

I love the idea of acting--I like the idea of being someone else and taking on a completely different identity. I one time acted in a show when I was twelve--it was difficult, because I literally had to pretend that my sister was my wife! However, afterwards everyone congratulated me because I "stole the show"

That being said, I'm worried how my acting talents will work in the future. Since I'm not very good at reading facial expressions and I'm not always sure which one to use, it's going to be a challenge for me.

i'd volunteer to be a minor character in a local flick or an extra in a big Hollywood production but that's as far as i'm willing to go.

i haven't been in any school plays; i think that's sort of a prerequisite for being in bigger movies.

i've been told i get really in character when i get caught acting by myself, though.

I love acting. I landed my first TV role recently and am currently taking classes.
