A common suggestion for beating the inner editor/critic is to write whatever comes to mind. The only problem I have with that is my OCD, which causes me to have intrusive thoughts all the time. I don't really like the idea of writing my intrusive thoughts on paper, so I try to think of something else during the freewriting period of time. Is this bad? Should I write the intrusive thoughts anyway?
