I want to write a story similar to "The Inbetweeners"
I know this may sound stupid but when I really take to a movie or sitcom, I want to do my own version of it in a story.
Lately I've really got into the British comedy series "The Inbetweeners". It's brilliant, I love the characters and everything about them. In fact, the series are so good, that I am finding it hard to think of my own version. I can't think of how to make up characters as good as those from the Inbetweeners.
I have a good plot in my head; the story can be about a group of boys in year 11, and it starts from September and finishes in June, when they're taking their exams, and the school prom will be in the story too.
Sounds fun to write, but difficult to get the characters right. Does anyone have any ideas that could help me get started?
