Any Arcade Fire fans here?

When their new album came out I listened to all of their stuff again, absolutely awesome :)

I thought their new album was disappointing.
I only listened to it twice; gave up on it.
Maybe i should give it another spin.

I like them, but I can take them or leave them. I've only heard a couple of songs off of the new one, and I like them, but they didn't make me want to rush out to get the whole thing.

That said, when they are good, they are really good. The Neighborhood set on Funeral is great, and Tunnels is one of my favourite songs in years.

How about Modest Mouse ?

I've listened to their new album nearly everyday for the last month.
Best thing they have done in years.

Good News For People Who Like Bad News?

That's my favourite of theirs. Which seems to be heresy to the hardcore fans, but I came late to the Modest Mouse party and I don't care.

Don't care much for the new one though, Florida aside.

Yeah that's the one, I listened to their other stuff but I wasn't as keen.

"Good News ..." was terrible.

I think he means "This is a long drive for someone with nothing to think about" or something like that.
"The Lonesome Crowded West" is good too, from around the same time.
I played these recently for the first time in years to see how they compare.

The National's new album is due out; i expect it to be leaked anytime soon, if not already, but i haven't seen it.

When you run out of Modest Mouse albums you can try Beat Happening or Jesus and Mary Chain if you missed it the first time

Yes, caught the Mary Chain the first time around.
Not a patch on Sonic Yoof.
