I normally don't enjoy this sort of event, but I just saw Hamilton on Broadway, and it was quite phenomenal. The musical itself is a rap version of the ultimate hip-hop star: founding father and face of the $10 bill, Alexander Hamilton.
I encourage you to go see it, but (for those of you with sensory sensitivities) it does get quite loud at times. I had to surreptitiously cover my ears at one point.
