Do these two songs have anything in common?

Since I was a small child, I've been afraid of a couple songs. I was curious if they have anything in common musically. Here's a couple links to them:

I was curious because I want to know what kind of music I should stay away from to not invoke these fears. They're distressing for me and I need some help, please.

Well, these are both jazz. I don't really like jazz. It's too chaotic. I feel like it's messing up my mind. Neither do I like brass instruments. Their sound is so harsh that it hurts my ears. And I find the first one you linked (Powerhouse) quite disturbing myself. I'd never listen to it by my own will.

Maybe the scale they play in also has something to do with it, I don't know.

well, they are both jazzy and both use trompets...

I suppose the 'scary' thing in them (i don't hear it, but i'll believe you) could be something called a 'dissonant note', a tone that appears to be off-key, but actually isn't and is supposed to sound like that.

This is common in jazz, but it is found in nearly all non-pop music.
i suppose keeping to the top-50 will keep you safe?

Well, i didn't listen to the whole things, i assumed those dissonants would be in the songs, since they are common in jazz.

the rythm of the jazz itself making you afraid; that is also an option, but that is a lot harder to avoid
