So far this year I've particularly liked these albums

Autre Ne Veut - Anxiety
Birds of Tokyo - March Fires
Foals - Holy Fire
Foxygen - We Are The 21st Century Ambassadors of Peace and Magic
Thao & the Get Down Stay Down - We the Common

My most anticipated album of this year would probably be AlunaGeorge's debut.

Another new addition is the debut album from the band Pickwick.
It's called Can't Talk Medicine. It also my favorite song so far in 2013 Lady Luck.

Royally messed this up, let me try again. Inhaler is an amazing song. Dark again is also an amazing song. The other songs I need to listen to more to tell what I think.

Several new albums have come out this week that I've really enjoyed. I liked Daughter's If You Leave, Emma Louise's Vs Head Vs Heart and Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience. I have to listen to the first two a bit more to get more of an opinion on them. With the latter, Tunnel Vision and Don't Hold The Wall are highlights.

One album I really got into this week was Phosphorescent's Muchacho. This is the first album I've heard by them though it's their sixth record; a polished, warm Americana record in the vein of Midlake or Villagers, with some really gorgeous instrumentation to boot, such as on the albums best song, Song for Zula.

I also have really enjoyed Kacey Musgrave's Same Trailer Different Park. It's a very pop oriented American country music album straight out of Nashville and not something I'd normally listen to, but decided to give it a go based on the strength of the earlier released single Merry Go 'Round. I can see Kacey becoming a big star in her home country and wouldn't be surprised if this has the same impact as Taylor Swift's 2006 debut.
