Yes I know its about a month late to be posting this but I listen to some of their songs all year round so I figure if you don't like it... lol. Anyway anybody else like them? I saw them in concert a year ago and it was easily one of the best concerts I have ever been too in the way they do their light shows and stuff.

I had never heard them yet but I know a few of there musicians, it's a bit paradoxal cause they played or are still playing in metal bands (Megadeth, Alice Cooper, Savatage, Testament, Metal Church).

I have heard only one of their songs, "Wizards in Winter", which has been used in various Christmas light shows. But I want to hear more.

Beatovens 5th (yes I know I can't spell) and The Carol of the Bells are their two biggest songs and imo best songs.

Havent heard them yet, but concerning the fact that Al Pitrelli(Former Megadeth Guitarist) plays in the orchestra, its probably worth checking out!

I have no explanation for it, I don't have much like for metal music at all, but I love Trans-Siberian Orchestra despite all the metal musicians in it.

Same here TBSis like Megadeath meets Mozart which is very weird and gets far enough away from the metal part.

The radio bills it as good orchestral rock... a good reason you should never trust advertisements.

If you want good orchestral rock, look to the people who ORIGINATED the art in the `70s, like Jeff Lynne.

I'd call it Spud Fodder.

(And by spud, I don't mean potatoes or myself this time around!)

For some reason I cannot deal with them when my dad plays their music. I don't know why. I listened to a few of their albums a few years ago and they were OK. Now when there stuff is played today I kinda go crazy. I like "traditional" Christmas music.

Exactly how crazy do you go? Do you just get irritable, or do you shout something along the lines of "TURN THAT [censored]-ING RADIO OFF!"?

I know that Al Pitrelli (former Megadeth guitarist) plays in it. This guy rocks, check out the solo he plays in this video (he has the black hair):

I love their music. My sister got me into, especially Beethoven's Last Night.
