I'm looking for more songs like this, that have like a bitter, angry, depressed, nihilistic tone. I already have most of Big Black's discography and I've played it almost all to death, so I'm looking for more. What do y'all recommend? I don't want anything remotely positive sounding or upbeat.

Well, maybe not quite what you want stylistically, but for me it don't get much more angry and bitter than Whitechapel:

Unfortunately this one has a positive message, but I appreciate the input.

Yeah, this is more like it. Maybe a bit uptempo musically, but the lyrics are killer. \m/ \m/

Don't feel bad, it's fine. I was in a bad mood and I was looking for songs to go with it.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for but Not Fragile by Bachman Turner Overdrive makes me feel aggressive ....

If you're depressed shouldn't you be listening to happy , uplifting songs ??

1,2,3,4 by Plain White T's works for me usually ...

If you're really depressed that usually just feels irritating.

They make me feel worse. The last thing I want to hear about when I'm angry or depressed is how happy other people are.

Any one like to wail or play the blues.

Best jam/lecture

Jews and the blues.
In the mix was a jammer with HARP as in Harpo Marx - not a harmonica.

Yes I had my box of 27 different keyed harmonicas.

Personally, my favorite song to listen to when pissed off is So What by Pink. It's perfectly angsty for when you wanna punch someone. Welcome Home by Coheed And Cambria is a close second though.
