So I've started a new band with me on bass. There's two or three guitars, a drummer and a harmonica. My lovely wife is the lead singer.

Our music style is the unholy union of Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Blind Melon and Janis Joplin. But that doesn't really do us justice.

I am now officially accepting band name suggestions. If we choose yours, I'll get you back stage passes when we make it big.

We will record our first track next Tuesday or Wednesday and after I mix it properly, I'll try to put it on the web for everybody.

I vote Double Dub. It has a musical quality. Lukewarm Fajita or Unjust Bologna are funny but not something I'd call a band. I guess you really like the food idea. Buddha bread I would give second. I like it too. Noxious Whiskey is decent. What about frisky whiskey. Hmm, maybe not.

my friend, if the description cannot do your band justice, then most of our suggestions based on that short of the full package description will not as well (in most cases).

Whatever you do, don't take the following because they are mine:
King Lightning (though we split that each of our fellow members were "mother******s)
Hurricane Bastard (you know, instead of "Hurricane Andrew" or something)

Try and find a word that describes your band, try an emotion. What do you guys stand for?

How about...

Courtesy Flush?

I always thought that would be a cool name for a band.

If you're good it doesn't matter what you're called. Limp Bizkit was succcessful for a while. I like Unjust Bologna.

FLINT SICKLE!

My humanities teacher has always thought that would make a great band name I agree. If you are familiar with Greek mythology it's the weapon Cronus used to kill his father Uranus...

I've voted for Double Dub, because that name reminds me of the Clash song, 'Robber Dub'. 8)
