The new Nightwish vocalist was revealed yesterday. It's Anette Olzon. This is what she sounds like. This is her old band.

It looks like it's the end of Nightwish.

well, nightwish was a one-trick pony all the time - but since kicking their vocalist out, all that remained was a substandard metal group like there are thousands. tarja didnt make their shallow songs great, but she made the band stand out. its like placing a didjeridoo in a metal band would make that band stand out, regardless of the quality of their songs.

how couild the heads of the band be so swollen that theys didnt realize kicking tarja out is their inevitable end?

I kinda like it, but it is awfully generic. Tarja was what made this band great, with her beautiful voice.

*sigh* ah well.
I guess I shall be sticking to listening to the old material.
