Hi my favourite band is Opeth i am obsessed with them they are kind of a Prog/Death Metal band with some mellow moments. I have also been watching them about 3 times or something.

I also like other stuff like Devin Townsend, Darkthrone,Katatonia,Amon Amarth ( who i went watching at Manchester Acadamy recently) Porcupine Tree,Arch Enemy,Soilwork,Dark Tranqullity,Radiohead,Amorphis,Darkane,Dissarmonia Mundi,Mercenary,Wintersun,Woods Of Ypres,Slayer,Megadeth,Skyfire,Swallow The Sun, Strapping Young Lad and so on

I like black metal,death metal but i also like pretty mellow stuff and music with no vocals etc

you should try the old prog rock like Jethro Tull, King Crimson, Genesis, Renaissance, Captain Beyond, Yes and so on

Have you been to watch any of them? I have seen Amon Amarth,Dark Tranquility and others like Opeth,Porcupine Tree,Enslaved/1349 Zyklon B i really enjoy gigs and tend to go whenever a band i like is on.

you should listen to green carnations album, light of day, day of darkness if you like that prog rock

I don't have that album but i have The Quiet Offspring,The Acoustic Verses and the awesome A Night Under The Dam dvd.
