Hi my favourite band is Opeth i am obsessed with them they are kind of a Prog/Death Metal band with some mellow moments. I have also been watching them about 3 times or something.

I also like other stuff like Devin Townsend, Darkthrone,Katatonia,Amon Amarth ( who i went watching at Manchester Acadamy recently) Porcupine Tree,Arch Enemy,Soilwork,Dark Tranqullity,Radiohead,Amorphis,Darkane,Dissarmonia Mundi,Mercenary,Wintersun,Woods Of Ypres,Slayer,Megadeth,Skyfire,Swallow The Sun, Strapping Young Lad and so on

I like black metal,death metal but i also like pretty mellow stuff and music with no vocals etc :D

you should try the old prog rock :P like Jethro Tull, King Crimson, Genesis, Renaissance, Captain Beyond, Yes and so on :D

I like Camel and some of King Crimson's stuff

I put Manchester but i am from a small town no one has heard of which is not that far called Atherton and i go to Manchester quite a lot anyway.

Have you been to watch any of them? I have seen Amon Amarth,Dark Tranquility and others like Opeth,Porcupine Tree,Enslaved/1349 Zyklon B i really enjoy gigs and tend to go whenever a band i like is on.

I like early darkthrone and porcupine tree(mainly coma divine) a lot.

Nice :P well keep on with the prog train-prog is an awesome Genre
Oh Deep Purple-they're sorta Prog (as are Led Zeppelin) :P
