I just saw them live, in Birmingham, AL, and I'm going to see them again at Bonnaroo in June. They rocked hard... really awesome riffs and stuff.

I agree, Silverchair are much better.

I like Wolfmother, I saw them live in Sydney a few weeks ago. But after a few listens all the songs on their CD start to sound the same.

Oh my God, what an as*hole. Wolfmother BLOWS AWAY Faith No More, and Silverchair too for that matter. He's just jealous they've won a Grammy and their music is all over television on various advertisements. Bring back that Led Zeppelin/Black Sabbath riffage, baby! Don't let that punk deter you.

wolfmother is just so boringly unoriginal. it's really trite.

i'd rather listen to mr bungle or peeping tom any day over the agony of a band who can't even come up with an original sound rather less an original song.

They're ok but I don't think it's right that they're classified as Stoner Rock. Stoner Rock is stuff like Kyuss, Fu Manchu, and Fatso Jetson. Wolfmother's got nothing in common with those bands except for the Sabbath-esque riffs. And even then those other bands do 'em better.
