All the pieces were there at that moment
I was young but couldn't see how they fit.
The gut wrenching that came that second
was predicting what the future would hold.

Pill after pill seams like only placebos.
Others around complain about side effects
I'm giving just symptoms and a blunt affect.
Pill after pill why aren't these working?

Session after Session feels worthless
we're still working on trivial things
that others got instinctively years ago.
Session after session I'm a bit hopeless.

Maybe I've been in denial all along
knowing that no solution would come
after the psychiatrist after reading my history
pleased to know what is your problem.
