Post your favorite undiscovered acts. They don't have to be unsigned, but the chances are they'll either be under an indie label or they just haven't caught on yet.

Theory of Hate (almost no one outside of their hometown of Wasilla, AK knows about them and I made one of them a promise I'd spread the word. Please check them out, they've got an album out but you'll have to message them on MySpace for a copy or listen to them on their page)
Electric Mary
Chris Singleton
Tokyo Dragons (unfortunately split after second album)
The Irish Front (local band, from Glendale, AZ)
Angel Carson (friend of mine, but you gotta check on YouTube)
Novella Bentley (also local)

Echo Image is on Pandora and myspace, but the latter hasn't been updated in years. A few of their tracks and mixes are on itunes, but really not much. A bit on youtube as well.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ntu1Nio_xAE

For example. The tracks by The Echoing Green that guy uploaded are also pretty good, but i think they're somewhat more known.

Grayson Millar is on myspace.

Gigi D'Agostino is pretty well known but not entirely mainstream.

There's alot of artists out there that only produce a few tracks I like, and it could take me an hour to get all the info together...

Basically, just keep looking. Always. Use Pandora and itunes genius, but don't rely on them.

Not sure if these guys count as undiscovered or just not know in the US.

Kaiser Orchestra

There's also Rasputina, I love how non standard they are.

They were quite big over here, as I recall.

Anybody heard of the seventies British group Chicory Tip? They had a few hits back in about '72, but aren't as remembered as other bands of the era, even though they used a Moog synthesizer on their biggest hits, and had songs penned by Giorgio Moroder. Shame, because their two biggest hits are Son of My Father and What's Your Name, which stand up as seventies classics.

(Although I do wish the creator of this clip had used a photograph of the actual Hiram's Guns & Nick's Liquor store, formerly just Hiram's Guns & Liquor, in El Cajon...)

Forest of grey is a good local band from Seattle, too. Doubt they exist on youtube.

I'll have to think about what can add, but I wanted to thank Elementary_
Physics and ASPartofMe :) New Wave music helped me get though a time of my life when no one understood me. I hadn't heard Martha & the Muffins, APB, or the Puppets in years, but they still sound as good to me now as they did when those songs were new.
