What do you guys think of the Original Goosebumps Book Series?

I still read new ones and reread old ones a couple times a year, they're extremely formulaic and lightly padded but still full of soul and sometimes surprising snap, it's a shame he carried on pumping out the same thing for a whole career but there's worse crimes and it is certainly a financially rewarding niche he made for himself.

I enjoyed the "Give Yourself Goosebumps" choose-your-own-adventure spinoff series.
