I'm not a fan but I like him. Just never got around to giving SOAD or Serj's solo project any major listening.

yes,have been for years,he's what made SOAD great.
As solo,he's done some good stuff,only listen to Unthinking Majority [on constant loop] though.

I made a trip back in October to see him in Chicago. Too bad I can't make other later this month while he's in Council Bluffs.

Yes and no. I like some of his music with SOAD. I don't like their political views, turns me away from their music.

His solo stuff sounds a lot like System. A bit too much. He said in a few interveiws that it would be different, but "Empty Walls" and "Sky is Over" just sound like a System songs without Daron Malakian. Which is pretty cool, but it isn't really different.

I enjoy his voice. Have barely heard any SOAD or his solo album, but on the songs I've heard he sounds good. If there's a reason I enjoy either, it's because of him.

Niice. Have a great time.

Serj is a very good vocalist. Great lyrics too.

His solo project and S.O.A.D are both as ace as each other.

Empty walls sounds exactly like something done by SOAD, and I mixed it up for that upon first listening to it. On the contrary I feel everything else on the album sounds fairly unique to serj, in comparison to SOAD..

i love his new solo work, but i still wish he would go back to make music with SOAD. hey did anyone see foo-fighters and serj tankian's cover of holiday in cambodia by the dead kennedys it's awesome

Serj was on tour with the foo fighters for a bit I believe.

He's going with some band named Fair to Midland when he comes to Seattle.. never even heard of them. I hope they don't suck. I guess I should probably download some of their music.
