I have high-functioning autism (NOT Asperger's!) and I play clarinet and I am auditioning for All-State Band in a few weeks and I am a sophomore. I auditioned last year, but I didn't make it in. I just wanted to know if any other current/former students with autism has auditioned for All-State Music.

I made the Louisiana all-state band my junior and senior year on tenor sax. I also made it on alto sax, but they chose me to play tenor because I placed higher on tenor.

First of all, realize that it will be a tough task for you. Try hard and do not lose your hope.
