I've started working on two new stories, but I need to dedicate myself to one of them so I can get it done quicker. I'm not sure which one that should be, though. Which do you guys think sounds cooler?

The first one, I'm calling it The Magnus Knights, is the result of me wanting to do something with giant robots, but not wanting to copy what's already been done a thousand times. So, Magnus Knights takes place in a medieval fantasy world, where people can find twenty foot tall suits of armor lying abandoned in the wilderness. The king has figured out how to magically "activate" these armors (that sounds wrong, is that even the right term?), and has formed a legion of knights called the Magnus Knights to defend the realm. Then, one day, a ship carrying nothing but a massive torch burning blue fire sails into one of their harbors. The fire comes to life, burns down the town, and possesses an unclaimed suit of armor. Long story short, the armor was originally made by these fire-creatures. They have a cycle of burning down one country, then sailing to another country on the other side of the world while this country regrows, and so on and so forth. The other country has nearly been burned to the ground, so they sent this single fire creature ahead to scout out this one and determine if it's ready for the rest of its kind to come back and restart the cycle again. If the Magnus Knights can stop it before it sends word, perhaps they can avoid their country being destroyed again, like it was in ancient times.

The other story takes place in a world that's an equal mixture between high fantasy and cowboy westerns. They wear wide brimmed hats, shoot guns, and cast spells while humans live alongside giant lizard creatures. Basically, this world has five moons, and stabbing yourself with the shards of each of these moons gives you special powers. One of these moons fell from the sky, and that entire section of the world had to be locked away in an alternate dimension because its powers were corrupting the planet. Hundreds of years later, there's a sect of the church called the Grayland Rangers who patrol the alternate dimension to make sure none of the monsters the moon has created escapes. Piercing with this moon's shards is forbidden and punishable by death, and that's why the main character has been on the run from his former companions for the past three years. When the daughter of a governor from a town on the other side of the country stumbles on him, suffering a curse not unlike his own and begging for his help getting get home, he'll be forced to face his past. The quickest way home is to take her through the place he swore he'd never go again: the Graylands.

I vote first idea, if only because the setting reminds me of Xenogears in a fun way.

The second story sounds more like something I would be reading.
