I like his poems very much.
I've tried to write that sort, but such
A thing is very hard to do.
Come try it for yourself - it's true!

(OK, those four lines weren't so hard, but Dr. Seuss kept it up for the length of children's books, keeping meter and rhyme consistent and mostly using words suited to a new reader. The more I study poetry, the more I'm impressed with his achievements.)

A biopic about Dr. Seuss has been in the works for years and with Johnny Depp possibly playing Dr. Seuss.

Good casting choice or bad casting choice?

He was a genius, his stories and characters are timeless, and I still love them to this very day. :D

But get this: I've read somewhere that he had a phobia of children.

I loved the Cat In The Hat when I was a young child.

I only encountered his works at adult age, yet I was amazed by how good some of his works are.
I particularly love Yertle the turtle and the Lorax, and also You're only old once.
