I enjoy all three and this one guy I know accuses me of wanting to be Japanese. It seems that some anime, manga and Vocaloid fans get accused of this. I don't try to look Japanese and I'm quite content with being Italian, Hungarian and Irish.

Does anyone else who loves Anime, Manga and Vocaloid get accused of this?

By the way what are your favorite Vocaloid songs and manga/anime series? :D

I like anime and manga but don't really care for vocaloids, I do like a lot of Japanese electronic music though. I hate that you get called a weeaboo if you have an interest in East Asian cultures while it is okay to be a freak over any other culture. I've met people that practically worship European and South American cultures.

Some of my favorite Anime and Manga series would be

Hunter X Hunter

Dragon Ball/Z/Super

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

Berserk

Trigun

Fist of The North Star

Zatch Bell!

One Piece

Naruto

Bleach

Gurren Lagann

Great Teacher Onizuka

Excel Saga

Yu Yu Hakusho

Rurouni Kenshin

Outlaw Star

Cowboy Bebop

Kekkaishi

Parasyte

School Rumble

Fullmetal Alchemist

I developed friendships through common interest in manga and anime. My first for both was Pandora Hearts and my favorite manga/anime is Death Note.

@SnailHail Is Fullmetal Alchemist worth it ? I heard it was kind of long.

@Zeromancer A guy accused me and my old friends of this. I retorted he wasn't a political analyst (he would lecture us on his opinions). 8) Anyways, don't let him get under your skin :wink:

Heck yeah Fullmetal Alchemist is worth it! One of the best series ever. Watch Brotherhood because that one follows the manga all the way through all the first anime isn't bad either and I like they were able to keep the story good despite not being in the manga.

I love anime and manga! Here are some of my favourites (both finished watching/reading, and still watching/reading):
* Steins;Gate
* Puella Magi Madoka Magica
* Danganronpa
* Lucky Star
* Azumanga Daioh
* Nichijou
* Noragami
* Assassination Classroom
* Love Live

I want to try Soul Eater and Angel Beats one day as I like the sound of them!

And I love Vocaloid as well, even though I'm not normally one for pop music. The singing synthesiser technology of it has intrigued me since I was about 8, and I just love the cute voices as well, and the whole idea that anybody can make a song with it, even if they can't sing. :)
