I wish to start an instrumental thrash band, similar to the likes of Metallica on their "Kill Em All" album.

When I say instrumental, I mean it. No lyrics whatsoever, just plain thrash belting out many riffs to make up a structured song.

Although, seeing how I wish not alot of people would sign up with me and actually play (and I haven't even properly learnt the drums anywho), can anybody recommend me some websites where I can "borrow" bass guitar riffs, electric guitar riffs, and drum kit loops. Here is the only website I know of:

www.sampleswap.org

If anybody can recommend me anymore websites please let me know. I'm also using FLStudio V.5.0 to collaborate and produce the music, all I need now is the actual music itself. I don't really like using the FL Slayer (electric guitar) template anyways.

Would like feedback,

Thanks.

I'll try myself with www.sampleswap.org and attempt to find similar websites. :)

hey alternative,
here is a electronic music site with a forum, maybe you have more chance finding something there?

If my computer's sound card didn't suck huge ones I would send you some guitar riffs, but right now anything I record gets lots of static and poor quality.

What you could do is get a program like Guitar Pro 5 which would allow you to write entire songs (drums, guitar, bass, or any other instrument you could want) in sheet music and TAB format. Then, you could find a few musicians in your area, print out your work for them, and let them play it for you.

Ohh right.

Sorry to doubt your link.

I made myself a member so I'll copy and paste what I posted here, and see what they say. :)

Oh right.

Shame I don't know guitar chords that well, if I did, I'd be set. :)

Check FreeSound. It's a place where people can upload sounds that they have released under a free license, meaning that you are free to use them if you accredit the original creator.

Yay. :)

If you record some fast bass lines (ranging from 140 - 180 beats per minute if you know what that means ) and add me to msn (if you have msn) which is basically my email address at the bottom. :)

 I uploaded a song on there, and they're denying it because I'm british and not Belgian.

I'm afraid to ask the question because they might deny me because I'm british and not belgian.
