I think I like the idea of it more than I actually like it. LFO did some really cool stuff, and I like a lot of the breakbeat rave stuff it inspired (The Prodigy, Zomby, etc.), as well as some of the "alt-dance" bands it influenced, like Carter USM and Primal Scream. There's also some really cool tribal house. But the original acid house that I've heard hasn't aged well. But if anyone has cool tracks, I'll definitely check it out. Vaguely related, but I also love underworld

Here's some of what I'm talking about:
rave
alt-dance
tribal house
something else:
Here are some cool acid house tracks:
Flow Coma - 808 State (1988)
James Jack Rabbit - Let Us Have Love (1989)
DJ Pierre - Box Energy (1988)
Armando - Land of Confusion (Confusion Mix) (1988)
I'm more of a goa/psytrance fan. There is almost none of this played live in America. It's a huge deal if any major act comes which they rarely do. I'm so jealous of Europeans although from youtube it looks like not a lot of people at the shows there either.
also some more mainstream stuff like Markus Schulz
Like this right here, SO awesome but probably odd to most people.
