If you want to write a team story, this is all you need:

I suggest you add something to the "example" notepad first, just to leave your mark. Then go and create your own.
I'm also doing a three word story - you can add your three lines to "three-word-story".

Version 002 features:

• AJAX support - if your browser supports it, you see the updates in (almost) real time.

There's no password-protection yet, so you'll have to name your notepad something obscure if you want to keep idiots out (trolls, spambots, etc.), e.g. "arghn0ezage!". Seeing as I have protected the index file from outside eyes, you can do this (fairly) safely. But still, make sure you keep a copy on your PC.
