Though they are overlooked today, the animated works from the United Productions of America have had a huge impact on cartoons in the West. They popularized the use of limited animation, as well as the thick-lined look of many animated series, even after the studio closed in the mid-20th century. This thread was created to discuss the UPA's impact on pop culture (be it positive or negative) and to show illustrations & animations inspired by the art style of the UPA library.
