I was just wondering if there was anyone round here who enjoys listening to Rush and Black Sabbath as much as I do.

I enjoy the music of Rush but I'm not fanatical about their music. Don't get me wrong, I highly respect them for their talent and they have been an inspiration for me.

Definitely a fan. Always have time for "Planet Caravan." It's like goth music. Dark psychedelia.

This is my kind of gothic music. I wish there was more like it.

Love that song. My personal favourite is "Warning" off of their self titled debut. The long guitar solo by Iommi is addictive and good for headbanging my troubles away.

I saw them in Chicago in 2007, they were amazing.

Man.....

I never experienced the joys of going to a concert by either group to be frank. I wanted to buy tickets for Ozzy's concert in Detroit for me and my girlfriend but I decided to pass it up due to my girlfriends epilepsy.

When I saw them, it was Tony, Geezer, Dio, and Vinnie (and probably Adam Wakeman behind the curtains?) They were way better in Chicago than they were on the official DVD.

Seeing them with Ozzy and Bill would've been cool, but Ozzy's voice isn't what it used to be. Substance abuse really took a toll on that guy >_<

I’m old enough that Rush used to play at my high school dances!

Love both of them. I've also had the pleasure of seeing both bands live several times.

Black Sabbath is good, but I like Rush's American counterpart Styx more.
