Running out of Lexapro
Her eyes large and blue and glossy
Gaze at mine
Mine squinty and dark stare at the floor
And shed tears
A moment betwixt consigned to private eradication
Never to be spoken to a soul
Never to be remembered past a few years
An estimation of its impotence despite its deepness
She didn’t have to be there or to watch
The heaving and sighing and sobbing
An experience less powerful shared between two
Not important but not unnoticed
Well It means a lot to me
When I needed meaning
Meaning for the suffering outside aimless penance to chemicals and survival mechanisms
And I thank you
