That was interesting. I wonder what country that was filmed in? One of the drummers was using bones, femurs or something to drum with. I liked throat singing when I heard it years ago in a KLF song. I can't remember which one though.

The Asian gentleman's throat singing at the beginning is reminiscent of a group of Tibetan monks my wife and I, along with a friend heard throat singing at an event at the local Gonzaga University we attended.

My first introduction to "throat singing" was a tape by a group from Tanu Tuva ( a small nation on the Asian steppes north of Mongolia and south of Siberia (Russian Republic). Intellectually interesting, but hard to actually listen to. But that performance in the video works throat singing in, with other ingredients like the singer's Chinese type fiddle, and the bagpipes, into a a powerful mix that works.
