Music- Hidden meanings in lyrics

What's with music these days? it's about drugs, hook ups and the videos, all blood baths, chequered floor boards, colours of red, black and white. Black liquid pouring down ones eyes, things happening at 3am..

Sure theirs always been music with political agendas, singing about the life style of the rich and famous
all things "sex, drugs and rock n roll" but what happened to meaningful music! relatable stuff.

I noticed that, but I wasn’t sure if it was because I only recently started paying attention to the words.

When I released what some of the meanings were, I defaulted to instrumentals. =]

a song is a song but if the lyrics are darker then they appear, least you can blank it out.
