Just as there are a few versions of 'adult contemporary' music categories, is there a need for a category of 'young adult contemporary' music?
As one of many examples, an ample number of young adults (mostly the 24 to 34 age demographics) relates to the livelier 1970s to 1980s Rock.
There is a category (LINK) for 'Hot Adult Contemporary' music (a wide 18 to 54 age range) - yet the 1970s and 1980s Rock which lives-on to this day is largely absent for this category.

What specific bands & artists, and songs belong in the 'young adult contemporary' category of music?
