Photo/video sharing without social media

Like maybe some others here, I despise social media. I left FB 6 years ago and haven't looked back, with so many people divided by politics. No interest in other social media. Still, I have tons of photos and videos I'd like to share whether to family and friends or even publically, by sending a link or otherwise not having to be in a network and not Google Photos or other creepy data-miners (though maybe they all are in a way).

Any suggestions for sites (stable and not likely to go under soon as some startups do)? I know there's Flickr and other photo-ordering sites which are maybe more driven by profit to order prints. Just looking for something with a good blend of features, storage and not likely to go belly-up tomorrow. Thanks

I've used this when I need to transfer files too large for email. For photos, I usually use a graphics program to reduce the file size and insert them in emails.

Yeah, I use dropbox for some things, but there are things u can't do with it, and space is fairly limited.

I've been using https://publit.io/ for a couple of years, they give you 10GB space free and you can do clever things with their site, that google and dropbox won't let you do.

For example I had some spreadsheet files that loaded images dynamically based on filenames in cells



There are probably other better newer options, it just worked for me, and has already been around for a while, more than four years anyhow. Ah, five years, apparently.
