This is a little thing I'm working on, called Rainstream. It's available for download here: http://8bc.org/music/nitro2k01/Rainstream+(preview)/
Comments are appreciated.

Yes, but that's different from what I'm doing. These projects are about remixing game music, I use use the Gameboy as an instrument to create my own music.

I believe VGMix does accept original music, but I see what you're getting at. You talking original Game Boy or GBA?

Are there any gameboy artists which produce more melodic music like those catchy video game tunes rather than dancy technoey stuff?

I'm not a gameboy artist... but I've been making music that sounds kind of like it's for the SNES.

I tend to focus on the melody, it's electronic music but I try to make it sound like it's played by people.

This is probably my best piece... I kind of think it fits for a game intro sequence.

My signature has links to others.

As to the original poster... I like the sounds you are getting out of the gameboy. But I am not into this electronic music much... so it doesn't do it for me. It get's better towards the end... where a melody starts to form... although quite atonal it sounds like movement. (atonal isn't a bad thing)
