Manga style Aspie

I have created a character who is supposed to have AS, but I am not sure whether he is too extreme. I have based him on myself and my difficulties, but I am not an average Aspie, since I was undiagnosed, unhelped and therefore quite an extreme person myself. Basically, I am not going to reveal he has AS straight away (grab a few NT's first!) but it will be pretty darned obvious for us in the know!

He is meant to be gentle and quiet but (as we are) sometimes quite blunt! (man, now I can't stop thinking of pencils...) What would you like to see in an Aspie character. (he is meant to be a student who is living with a Japanese family in a fictional part of London)

Check out the anime series "Azumanga Daioh" at Veoh.com The character Sakaki has aspie traits. Sakaki is the tallest of the group.

I think it'd be better that you don't reveal it at all. If you suddenly get complacent about your character's aspiness you run the risk of losing your readership. Just keep him quirky. even then, you can't expect NTs to appreciate your work if they have nothing to relate to.

Oh, did I mention the other character is going to be a SEXY femail! If that doesn't keep the NT's interested, I don't know what will!
