Does anyone want to talk about guitars?

Maybe I’ll start. Lately, I’ve been listening to Fazerdaze and Dinosaur Jr. Two very different guitar styles, but both play Fender guitars. Fazerdaze gets a nice, sweet sound from a Mustang. Dinosaur Jr. is loud and fuzzy. I like them both.

Never heard of Fazerdaze but this is my favourite Dinosaur Jr track, I like playing along with guitar, bass and drums.

I can’t see a video, if you’ve posted one.

There are two great videos of Fazerdaze on YouTube. One song called Shoulders and one called A Little Uneasy. Just her and a guitar.

It was the video for 'Feel The Pain'. I'll check out Fazerdaze later today.

Feel the Pain is good. There are so many songs that are great. I put it on random on Spotify and never feel the need to skip any.

Said the People is the song I’m enjoying most right now.

I have: a flamenco guitar
a 3/4 size steel guitar (in need of major repair)
a 12-string acoustic (in need of small repair)
a Frankenstrat with vintage style single-coil pickups and custom wiring (so I can go parallel or series or any combo of pickups)
a Squier Stratocaster Deluxe with the electronics replaced with a Blacktop (humbuckers with coil tap)
Squier Vintage Modified '70s Jazz Bass, almost stock but I replaced the knobs and probably the cap
a Franken-P-Bass, I threw P/J pickups in it from a Steinberger, but they're pretty meh and I never use the Jazz anymore...also can switch the humbucker from series to parallel

The Precision has tapewound strings on it right now, it definitely gives it more of a vintage sound, especially in series...I usually have flats on the Jazz, but I had to put roundwounds back on it for a band I was in a little while ago.

I think that's all of them? I'd love to have a Gibson (or maybe even Epiphone) SG some day, probably with P-90 pickups, but they just keep slipping further and further out of my price range...

I play a Fender Jaguar. For me, it’s the most fun to play of what I have. I also have a Jackson RRTMG, but these days that rarely gets out of the case. I’d like to find a Squier Bullet Mustang to bang around on and modify a little.

I also have an old Samick SG back home that I haven’t played in years. It’s a pretty good guitar for what it’s worth. And a bunch of acoustic guitars back home as well.

I have an Ibanez ORM-1 that's been modified with an EMG 81 in the bridge.

I don’t know much about wiring. I don’t know the difference between parallel or series wiring. I’ll have to do some reading.
