I don't see the need to keep making all these "metal" threads. Yes, keep talking about it, but can we have this be the last NEW metal thread and just keep conversing in the six (seven, if you count the anti-metal thread you felt the need to post metal things on) already existing metal threads? This is getting to be excessive.

There's no need to "shout."

Pop "sucking" is a matter of opinino and everyone is entitled to theirs.

And don't jump to conclusions. I actually DO like some metla. I just think you're overdoing it with all these new threads.

Does anyone else find this all to be a bit ironic? A few metal acts use nazi imagery (punk acts certainly did), and here is a fan of metal calling those who musical tastes differ from his a own a music nazi.

Whilst I do like some metal (mostly the more industrial side that incoporates electronic sounds), I find myself getting agravated at the fans who often adhere to these metal/alteranative stereotypes. It is so annoying listening to a metal head/crap 'Nu-Goth'whinge about pop music and chavs. They often moan how chavs are stupid, ignorant, and hostile yet many metal heads I have meet are often akin to chavs with greasy hair, studs and iron maiden t-shirts.
