The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars - David Bowie
Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps) - David Bowie
Billion Dollar Babies - Alice Cooper

Nevermind - Nirvana
Superunknown - Soundgarten
Live Through This - Hole
It’s Not Me, It’s You - Lily Allen
Rockferry - Duffy
Ceremonials - Florence and The Machine
I am glad you said not to count, no way I could limit it to ten. So many Kate Bush albums should be in there.

“My autism is not a superpower. It also isn’t some kind of god-forsaken, endless fountain of suffering inflicted on my family. It’s just part of who I am as a person”. - Sara Luterman
Not necessarily in order of merit:
A Beard Of Stars - Tyrannosaurus Rex
Ars Longa Vita Brevis - The Nice
Ogden's Nut Gone Flake - Small Faces
USA - USA
Keynsham - Bonzo Dog Band

New Clear Days - The Vapors
Revolver - The Beatles
Snap! - The Jam
Sorry they're all so old, but I've not been able to find anything better yet.
3 Mustaphas 3 isn't really rock, but with a title like that I couldn't leave it out.
Hell yeah -
Meet the Beatles
Sgt Peppers (I was going to name it, but I only let myself play it once a year)
Scary Monsters
The B52s
Aqualung
Let's just name 50 instead of ten.
Without counting - but not going on forever either (e.g., I promise not to name every Beatles album)
Adding -
Rubber Soul - Beatles
Houses of the Holy - Led Zeppelin
Zeppelin 3 - Led Zeppelin
All Things Must Pass - George Harrison
John Lennon / Plastic Ono Band
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - Elton

An argument could be made for having more Beatles, Supertramp, Steely Dan and Pink Floyd on here.
The greatest Greatest Hits album would have to be: This is The Moody Blues
And...is there anyone who recorded on cassette who DIDN'T put these albums on alternate sides of a 90-minute cassette:
The who - Who Are You, Who's Next
The Beatles - Revolver, Rubber Soul
The Beatles - Sgt Peppers, Yellow Submarine
Fleetwood Mac - Fleetwood Mac, Rumours
Boston - Boston, Don't Look Back
Styx - Grand Illusion, Pieces of Eight

We need to be friends.
I was thinking of Styx, Supertramp, Rumours, etc. but didn't want to put too many.
Also Moody Blues! Hell yeah! I have it right in front of me on vinyl!
One of my faves!

YES. Imo their most underrated album that nobody talks about.
Another one that doesnt get enough love. People mainly know it for All-Star, but I think each song on there is great.

There's a thing I don't really get about how people think of Pink Floyd, and it's a bit like them without Syd Barret (until Meddle or DSoM) = amateurish crap whereas DSoM = super band. It's kind of evident to me that they needed to build up the psychedelic, go all out on Ummagumma to then hollow it out and find a frame that worked for them. Still... is anyone going to say that psychedelic, especially dissonant psychedelic (the gaunt and scary kind) is something that any sixth-former can flick off in a few seconds? Either the late 60's were so oversaturated with psychedelic rock that there was no market for them doing that or something stranger maybe happened.

After Piper but before Dark Side it was like the band was in the wilderness. The uniting creative force of Syd had imploded and the band had to reinvent themselves.
I honestly really enjoy that era of the band, as they were very varied in style and did some really out-there stuff. As you say, I like when they would dip into psychedelic horror: Careful with that Axe Eugene, One of these Days, the title track on Saucerful, the middle part of Echoes...
