I always play music. I love old music and new. I listen to everything including country and rap. I love good lyrics. I struggle to read books lately. Songs have replaced that. I just feel safe when listening. It makes me feel less alone.

Me too, but a lot of what I listen to can be hard to understand the lyrics because of how the vocals are performed.

I'd place most of this stuff closer to punk than metal, but there's some metal I enjoy too.

Sometimes certain vocal styles work really well to convey certain feelings.
