I thought it was catchier than Annihilation of the Wicked. Although I'm not sure it had anything to match Cast down the Heretic. I like that Laying Fire Upon Apep and the Essential Salts are back to back.

It rules! The sound and the guitar playing is way better than the last album.

And GoatOnFire, that makes you a Humanist. I'm one too.

Well it's good to know that I am a humanist and not a racist. If I was a racist I couldn't possibly get a job ever. I guess there is one race that is open for the hating, the human race.

I find it funny that "Humanist" can also mean a hater of humans.
Currently I'm also listening to The Red Chord and Job For A Cowboy.

Prey for Eyes and Genesis? I have both of those albums on my iPod too, including some of their older stuff. We must have very similar music taste.

Yes, that's what I'm listening to. I don't have an IPod, I have the CD's. I use magazines and Myspace a lot to find new bands.

How prevalent is metal up in Norway? I know you have a lot of black metal.

It's a flourishing scene. If I only had the brains to put a death metal band toghether of my own.

You mean, play all of the instruments and do the vocals yourself? I saw one guy on the internet who did that, it wasn't very good though.

The Red Chord is seriously underrated.

Look for their newer albums, they just keep getting better and better. This one's an interpretation parody but they kept the solo intact.

Can you do the cookie monster vocals? Or the "bree, bree, bree" thing bands like Job for a Cowboy and Despised Icon do? If you can I guess you could put an ad in the paper looking for guitarists and a drummer. Still, I would imagine that being in a band would be difficult for an aspie. :?
